How to save Firefox web setting?

Hello

I need help with my current browser (Firefox 2.0), I don't want to lose it settings and all my favorites if something happened to my PC. Is there a way to save all my favorites and settings in it orginal form to a CD/DVD disk?^^

Yep, here, if you want to do it manually. To a disk for instance. You will see "foxmarks" mentioned; it works very well. I use it because I have over 400 bookmarks and don't really feel like losing them ( In other words foxmarks is very dependable).

However, you may find it much easier to simply backup your settings, or at least bookmarks on a server.

hey! thz for those nifty and useful suggestions nathanskywalker , will most definitely going to try em out. =o]

other question if anyone willing to give me their option on this.

Let said I want to backup my files beside burning on to the CD/DVD, should I get an external hard drive, or a blue-tooth (a small little stick with usp port attach to it that have like 1-3 gigs on them)?
any advice on how to do so would be appreciate, the most convenience the better : D

If you're interested in a simpler, less powerful solution, the file that the bookmarks are stored in is:

C:\Documents and Settings\[your username here]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[gibberish profile name]\bookmarks.html
simple copy to another location or device is sufficient. :giddy:
