Dell Optiplex X260 Bios Password Removal

I purchased this surplus computer from a company and found that the bios is password protected. I am trying to install some new hardware and need to get into the bios to set some parameters. Is there anyway to remove the password?

You could try my site, it deals with Dell laptops but it may also help your desktop PC.

Have you had a look inside the case, there is sometimes a jumper or dipswitch on the Dell Optiplex ( i have been inside many 250's and 270's) that will wipe the BOIS to defaults, and or remove passwords.

do not put an email on a public web site as it will be harvested and u will get an unamagical amount of spam. I would remove it but I can not.
