Laptom ram

as i have never seen inside of a laptop, i would like to know, does increasing ram need to be done by a pro?

On older laptops you may not be able to increase system RAM at all, mainly due to cost. Newer laptops have memory compartments assessable from underneath the laptop. It is easy to increase memory in these, if you are mechanically inclined

well i don't have any problem in a build and i don't have any problem in using a soldering iron, but from from you say that won't be necessary ?

Yes Tomrca,
all you need is a small flat or philips screwdriver. The SODIMMS clip or snap in place

Generic instructions with pictures here but be sure to get the correct type SODIM`s for your laptop they can be very fussy about ram

read the installing ram and troubleshooting guide in the guides forum.

Adding RAM to a laptop is especially beneficial as it also increases battery hour life.
