Hi
I have changed my HD in my laptop. BIOS can not find CD DVD-rom whith the new HD. There is nothing I can change on the new HD, and it is the same brand and looks exacly the same as the old one. Thankful for all help. |

did you remember to change the master/slave switches on the HD or CD-rom?

Have you downloaded and installed the new drivers from the laptop manufacturer's web site?

Yes, I found new updated BIOS, I download and installed. Same problem....
|

remove the hd from the computer. Check the back of it and look at the jumper settings. It should match the old one you had in there.
