cd-rom disappeared in bios

Hi
I have changed my HD in my laptop. BIOS can not find CD DVD-rom whith the new HD. There is nothing I can change on the new HD, and it is the same brand and looks exacly the same as the old one.
Thankful for all help.

remove the hd from the computer. Check the back of it and look at the jumper settings. It should match the old one you had in there.
