Small Network problem

On my subnet I have computer A, computer B and a gateway.

Both A and B can ping the gateway - and beyond.

A can ping B (by ID address and Name)

but B can't ping A at all.

Where should I look?

Look for a firewall on machine A? It may be blocking ICMP echo requests

Yeah. That's exactly what the problem is. I enabled it last week at Microsoft's suggestion - didn't realise that my LAN was what they describe as VPN.

NOW, I can't follow their instructions to undo it.

Win2K Pro

Where do I find the check box to disable the the Windows Internet connection Firewall?

I've looked in LAN Properties and can't see the Advanced Tab they refer to.

Sorry. Wind that back. I was on the wrong computer!
I've now disabled it on my XP machine and all is sweet.
Thanks
