What do I need to read mini dump files?

I have been getting random crash's on my PC. some happen during boot up and some happen while surfing the net. One of the error messages I get says it is a driver issue. I have XP with SP2, IE7 and no tool bars(google or yahoo). It is creating mini dump files but I can't read them. What program do I need to use in order to read the mini dumps? I have the XP debugger tools and will be dwonloading the symbol files, my DR Watson error messages say something about not finding the symbol files.

My PC:
ECS K8T890A
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
2 512mb sticks of Crucial RAM
2 WD 160gb SATA hard drives(running at 150mb/s) on a VIA SATA Raid Controller
ATI Radeon 8500
Creative SB X-FI
2 Plextor PX-740a DVDR's
Ultima 480W power supply
