GNOME desktop removed.

I have fedora Core 6 on my computer. I was exploring around with the add/remove programs and I some how got rid of GNOME desktop. Now I have no GUI. All I can get to now is command mode (text) run lever 3. If I type in startx, it takes me to what looks like a terminal window from the GUI with a clock in the corner but thats it. How can I get back GNOME? I don't have the CD, but I can get it, I was just wondering if there was a way I could just get it back without it.

Something like

yum install gnome*

....and a lot of bandwidth and patience will probably do the trick.

Another quick thing....how do I get all my things back that I had there, Like open office and the instant messenger? Pretty much the whole package. I have no add/remove programs now.
