INI error message

I down loaded a game for my wife called Simpark.
the down load went fine
unzipping the program also OK

I go to click the icon to try the game, and I get an error message saying
'Error loading resouce c/sim/data/simpark.spd, If you are not using a CD, check the simpark.INI file for proper path information.

can anyone tell me what this means and what I need to do to correct this issue?
thanks

Using XP Japanese version

Hmm.. You downloaded a game that wants to see a CD? Surely you are not doing anything illegal, are you?

Riight.. That sure doesn't look like a 100% legit outfit.

"Abandonware" is still against the law. (Although I personally consider abandonware to be a morally correct thing).

Downloading/playing any of the (abandonware) games that are designed to work with a CD is going to be a tricky hit and miss.
