Vista downgrade to XP

I have a Dell system I am installing for a doctors office that is not compatible with a lot of the medical software they have. The Dell is brand new out of the box with Vista. I want to install XP pro so they will be able to use this machine. I want to just install XP and not remove Vista, then tell it to just boot up woth xp. Or should I wipe the drive clean? This machine has NO IDE! So it is all SCSI. It does have a floppy drive hook up but no floppy, I will install that and just put in my boot disk. What I worry about is will vista allow another OS on the drive?

Lvimpala70,
Vista is a new OS... You can can set up a "test" Vista system to run the doctors office software and utilities, and keep XP only on the work stations for now

I think

I believe all new Dells that are sold at the stores or the dell locations mostly have the Vista on them. You have to mail order if you want XP
