Intel GNT945, 820 High Temp Range?
I am running a GNT945LKR board with an 820 Pent D. The Intel monitoring system always shows CPU temp right at the upper range of the green. It also shows the fan speed as usually about 900-950RPM. Is the thermostat set to adjust the fan speed to keep the temp. at that point? Am I just running hot? What gives? I see so many posts in the cooling secion where people are getting temps well below 50 deg. C. Forgot to add, running the fan that came with the retail processor.
