Red Hat 9 Port

I finnally gave Linux an extra shot and finnally got everything that I wanted to be set up.

I got my CS server up and running for the first time on linux but it only appeared on the network using the network IP.

So I add some special stuff, yada yada, to make it use the internet IP.

Turns out I need to open up port 27015. How do I open up port 27015? Also, I think it needs to be UDP.

Red Hat Linux 9--

Thanks.

Do a search to learn about hosts.allow and hosts.deny. RedHat seems to change how they handle that with each release, but the format is the same pretty much regardless of what file they put that in. Ipchains may also be related, you may want to look there. (My head is fuzzy at the second.. I know there's a connection...)

Hope this helps some.
