fyi: there's a limit on HD sizes that can be read easily ... < 137 GB.
to go bigger than that, yoiu need TWO changes:
1) the bios must be set to support LBA and
2) there's an MS article on the registry fix

On my p3 667, i got 2 80 gigs for it, and it only saw them as 32 in the bios, and as 80 gig in WinXP, so i flashed the bios, and now it sees them as full 80 gigs in the bios and in windows.
