Pre-installed Norton software? Use SymNRT
Norton Removal Tool (SymNRT), download here:
http://www.techspot.com/downloads/14...ol-symnrt.html This utility is really useful for brand computers that come with any Norton software preinstalled, successfully removing everything from your hard drive and Windows registry. Particularly useful as well for a bug found with Microsoft Office / Microsoft Word. If any of the programs in the suite are taking too long to load and you have no idea why, chances are it could be a remaining part of Norton trying to scan your Word files for viruses. In other words, don't trust normal uninstallation for Norton and run this instead. |
