computer too sleepy

hello all once again my laptop gets a new issue, see i just replaced the cd rom drive on my computer and now it wont come out of sleep mode, when i plug it in an turn it on the batterpower indicates its on, but it just has a little moon next to it. it does nothing now, Ive tried to put the other cdrom back in - but it still does it with that, what should i be doing?

Try holding the power button for a little while longer? If you hold the button long enough, it should forcefully shut down.

If that doesn't help, unplug the mains and remove the battery.

acutally - not that

nope sorry, that doesnt work, it doesnt power up, it give the signal that its powered up, but it doesnt flash the screen on or anything else, just a display in the lcd showing the plug in for it, the power on signal, and the moon for sleep mode. it wont power on it wont do anything else

Try chrging the battery,maybe it it doesn't have enough power to come out of sleep mode and wake up.

I don't have my own laptop,so i can't really help.
