Heroes of Might and Magic III problem
Hello everyone.
I tried installing Heroes III Complete on my computer. While the installation went fine (except for the installer not recognizing my DirectX version because it's too advanced), when I try to start the game it doesn't work - I get the "Now Loading" screen and then it crashes (I just get the "send error report" message). I heard on other (not very helpful) forums that the problem might have to do with my graphics card. I'm running WinXP SP2 with a GeForce 6600. I tried reinstalling the game, I tried running it in "Win95" mode (and all other modes available in the preferences menu), I updated my GeForce driver in case that had anything to do with it. Nothing helped. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be? The game was designed for Win 95/98. I really hope I can solve this problem, I really want to play the game again. Zohar
