Getting Outlook away from Exchange
i've got a machine with outlook 2003 installed and outlook express being used for email. i need to migrate everything to outlook which should be a simple procedure but it won't let me.
problem: the machine was previously set up to connect to an exchange server. Symptoms: when i try to open outlook it complains it cannot connect to the exchange server and then closes the program. also, when i try to export from express it also complains about the absence of an exchange server. question: is there a way to reconfigure outlook and outlook express to ditch the exchange server? also, there is nothing currently in outlook that needs to be saved. |
