Hi Everyone,

I need a software that converts avi files into a DVD readable file and burn it into a disc so that I can watch movies on my DVD player. Is there a program that allows you to do that? If there is a program like this, does it require a regional DVD player? Thanks.

Nero burns region 0 (no region) DVDs that should work on virtually all players.

You could also consider buying a DVD player that can play avi files directly.

I would recomend Nero I have been using it for years and love it. Just for what you are wanting to do you need Nero Vision it comes with the full version of Nero (check the site/box). I believe it was avi files that take for ever to convert . I dont remember for sure,but I remember that all software that converts the format that took for ever, takes for ever. (if you under stood my poor E-nglish there) They used to have a demo on their site.
