Help! Can't open flash drive

Whenever I try to open my flash drive, a menu will appear asking me to choose which program to open it. Is my drive infected?

Does it ask for the program when you try to access your flash drive from My Computer?

yeah

it will make you choose which program and then nothing happens after you click it

What kind of data does it have? (music, photos, videos, etc)

My flash drive contains a variety of documents. IT should open like the way hard drives open.

Try "exploring" it. (Right click, then select "Explore")

That has worked great for me.

I had the same problem. I don't think it's a virus. Try opening it up with the "internet explorer" icon. That should do the trick
