You would need a serious client base to make a living out of building custom PCs - it's not like people buy a new one every month. Meaning that you would actually have to be working for a company that does this.

yeah, i didn't mean like your main occupation but you do it regularly. But you are right, "living" implied day to day job. But still, either way, what would you charge?

I build computers for cumstomers. Usually my friends or there parents. Even my parents. I charge around 100-150 depending on the person and what kind of cooling they choose. Speaking of which my new parts should get here tommorow.

The only problem with that is negative feedback, fraud, and returns...no one will buy if you have no return policy on something that expensive .

That is actually not true. Almost every auction is limited to DOA returns only. And even if it does arrive DOA, if you test it before you ship it, and it arrives not working, then it would be the carriers fault. All auctions would require insurance.

As far as fraud, i will be using paypal only, and only verified paypal users can bid. You cant really jip someone. This is the process...they pay me, then i ship it.

Also, the cant leave you negative feedback, unless i did something "negative"..which i don't know what that could possibly be. I already have 100+ 100% positive feedback...i have been buying selling for a while.

I build/ repair/ upgrade computers for people here in my area. High end new builds $550-$1000 with $100 to $250 profit. Low to mid-range systems $200-$350 with $50 to $150 profit. Prices do not include OS, other software, monitor, keyboard or mouse
