Westell 6100 modem

Hello, I have Verizon DSL and use a westell 6100 modem. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can turn off the ping in the modem.

Uninstall and reinstall the Westell software... and if that doesn't work, call Verizon tech support. They are very helpful with this problem.

For ADSL connections, you REALLY want the ping to be active, less you get
disconnected for lack of activity.
