Tedster Posts: 5,746 +14 Apr 30, 2007 #2 boot in safe mode, use system restore. This is a poor way to recover previous states but it might work. ALWAYS back up your system to a secondard hard drive and it is also prudent to use a program like GOBACK or a cloning program also.
