game freezes and sometimes bsod

after installing palit gf6500 pcie card on my asus a8v vmse mobo all the game freezes after start. i have win xp prof and vista ultimat and in both the same thing happens.my system is
athlon 64 3200+
asus a8v vmse mobo 939
2*512mb ram 400mhz

i removed each ram and tried playing but still it freezes and i tried memory diagnostic tool in vista and it showed no errors.

Possibly you are using value ram... which may not have enough soup for that card. Use 1 GB memory modules that are designed for gaming... also double check your video graphics card drivers online. There may be an update available.
BSOD is usually hard drive, memory, cpu fan, video card or video graphics drivers. Since it apparently did not happen until you put in this new video card, something there is likely the problem.

ok.i will get new ram and try. but these ram were working fine on my old pc with same games and 6600gt agp card. and my cpu n mobo r new. has ram got anything to do with the video card?
