getting warning while using "VI" command in linxu

I am using linux operating system. Today I was trying to view my file using "VI" command and it keep taking me to "Viminfo" where I am getting warning.

E575: Vim info: Illigeal starting char in line

after that I am getting another warning stating

"<filename> is used in two different area. Please delete one file or rename it... I don't see another file in my computer. can anyone help me with it?
