Hi, After I scan a document into "MY PICTURES" how do I change it to a .wps file to put it into "Works"? Thanks for the help

JPG is a picture and WPS is text. You can't just make one into another.
Now, if you are scanning text, then you are probably interested in OCR programs like ABBYY FIneReader. |

Yes I am scanning text. It's a one time event so I don't really want to spend the money on that program. No tricks to just change a thing or two in the text and print?

Open the picture in an image editor like Paint ot GIMP or Photoshop and twiddle with the text there?
Or, alter the original paper document and scan/print (or just photocopy) it again? |

Thanks, I was able to manipulate the text but the size is too big to print on one page. I can't make it smaller on Paint, have tried to copy to Works from paint...can't do it. Any other thoughts?

Use a more advanced image editor that can make the image fit to page.. Try IrfanView for example.
