setting up a windows printer over wireless network on a MAC

I am very new to the MAC world and I always heard how easy Mac's were but so far I don't find them that easy.

I have a Windows network MSHOME.
I have a Windows XP computer "David" that has a printer.
I have a brand-new Mac Powerbook.

I want the Mac to use the printer on "David".

I have setup file and print sharing on the "David". The printer is shared.

I go to the MAC.
I "add a printer"
I pick "more printers"
I go to "Network Neighbourhood"
I click on "MSHome"
I clcik on "David"

A box comes up and aaks me for a user anme and passowrd. I am now stumped. I try Janet and Janet's password - (my Mac username) - no avail.

Any thought's?

Thx.

Colleen

Janet's password is the administrator password on David?
Right click on Computer ---> Manage ---> Local Users and Groups ----> Users ---> Right Click on Administrator ----> Set Password (leave it blank or reset it)

See if it work,
