BDOD error 10000050 - which device?
Hi this is my first post. TIA for any assistance given.
Getting BSOD then reboot on xp sp2 . Since Jan 07 contant message and params as follows. Can any gurus point which device is the culprit here. Event Type: Error Event Source: System Error Event Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Date: 30/05/2007 Time: 4:36:13 PM User: N/A Computer: P3_800 Description: Error code 10000050, parameter1 fffffff0, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 8054b5c3, parameter4 00000000 minidump attached and with manifest .. ant advice gratefully accepted.. my only comfort here is its the same message exactly each time. so must be one partic driver at fault here cheers |

Not sure if this is registry corruption, but it won't do any harm to install the following to see if it makes a difference. Please let us know if it does.

problem still here
Thanks ro the tip . tried the MS utility .. still falling over in same spot = same message.. any further tips anyone? .. can anyone tell from the dump output the likely places to look .. dlls or exes ??

I ran erunt and ntregopt on it and now seems more stable again.. My friend does know what he's on abt.. could have been a dicky registry.. further update .. still doing it all in same place .. must be one partic driver somewhere Is there someone who can help or tell me how to help myself.. got some futher info here ready for digestion for anyone willing to take a stab.
minidump output in english and the pstat output.. can anyone tell me how to corelate the 2 please ?? cheers pc |

Steps you can take that are easy:
1 - insert your XPSP2 disk, hold shift key until the cd light calms down 2 - Start, Run, type 'sfc /scannow' (no quotes) 3 - let the thing do its' thing 4 - remove the cd and reboot 5 - get out your support cd for the mobo 6 - reinstall the chipset drivers 7 - get out your support cd for the vid card 8 - uninstall the vid drivers from Add/Remove Programs 9 - reboot 10 - install the vid drivers 11 - reboot 12 - download and run for 10 passes memtest86 If no problems found with memory, run normally until next BSOD. |

You could try this too, with :http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/index.php
it worked for me.Do the test with 1 stick of ram and then after swap it. let me know |
