Audigy ZS 2 - Sound popping, bad feedback noises.

I've owned the card for about 2 years, without any problems.

Just about 2 weeks ago, during a game I was playing (Warrock) my sound coming out of my speakers was screeching. I have Ventrilo running as well, which has never given my problems before.

Could this be a problem with my speakers or a sign that my sound card is dying?

Luckily the sound card isnt that expensive anymore, so If I need to buy a new one, I could.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have the same card, go to the site and get the most current driver for it, stopped it for me.

Did you try another pci slot?

I think i found out the problem, and its not my sound eq. or drivers.

It has to do with the game, since i've tested it on several other games as well, and it seems to only occur when I run 'War Rock'
