How hot really?

I have a VIA KM 266 chipset (old i know) and i was curious what temp my computer really gets to? whats hot and whats not? what should be a limit for my computer? I downloaded a DesktopX widget that supposed to tell me the heatness but it says 104 F and doesnt really change. Is there a better program out there that tests the hotness of my computer so i can stay on top of it so it doesnt overheat? thanks

System specs
usually your mobo manufacturers have monitoring software to download. Check their website.
