MS Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse fails

While I was installing Mandriva Spring 2007, from a DVD-ROM, both mice -the pad one and the optical- worked simultaneously and perfectly well.

But when normally running from the HD the MS Mouse doesn't work anymore, nevertheless the laptop mouse runs as usually. I've checked if the OS recognized the wireless mouse and it recognizes both of them.

So, may I get some help? Thank you.

No

Not at all, that's not the problem. If I return to WXP both mice run OK.

Well,
thanks for explaining that...

It has to be a conflict between Vista and the USB drivers

No. As I said previously the problem happens when I run on Mandriva Linux 2007 Spring.
