Changing Drive Letters With a Batch File
Ok first let me give you some background, I have a program that will only pull information from the D: drive letter. The problem is that the files it runs are stored on a network drive, and I can't burn a copy of these file onto disk to use with the current D: drive because the files update daily.
Now what I'm looking for is a way to change the cd rom drives of 312 machines from "D" to another letter so I can map the D: drive to the network folder of these files. If anyone has a better idea to solve this problem than changing the drive letters I would be open to that as well. Thank-you in advance. |

See the "diskpart" program and the "select", "remove" and "assign" subcommands.
