Got a New Laptop!!! w00t!

Hey guys i just wanted to tell ya about my new laptop and i was wondering if anyone can suggest any good updated, i have Windows XP Media Center for now but pretty soon I'm going to be getting Pro on it,

get a copy of Spywareblaster, run update, and immunize;

be sure to get a router with NAT+SPI features

AVG Free is a good AV product and
(I turned off Resident Agent as it chews the battery by
scanning too frequently IMO!)

COMODO is a good replacement for the Windows Firewall
(just turn off Component monitoring)

Give us more specs on what you have now on the laptop. There are plenty of upgrades that you can do to any laptop. One of the most basic and useful upgrades i would say is ram. I just upgraded my 512 to 2 gb and it makes a big difference
