My Linksys Befsr41 V3 Router Wont Update The Firmware

HELP...everytime i try to update the firmware,it the bar goes half way then it stops then it goes to a page that says there was a error in downloading the firmware

and i need this update cuz its causing problems with online gaming
 
The most updated firmware for that router is from 4/01/2004. Maybe your router already has that firmware on it.
