I was wondering if there is a way to open .doc and .ppt files in Fedora 7.

I'm looking to change over to Linux and I've narrowed it down to either Ubuntu or Fedora 7. I like the look of Fedora a lot more, but Ubuntu specifically says that it can open microsoft office programs, can Fedora do this. (or is there a way to do it)

System specs
OpenOffice 2.2 supports .ppt and .doc just fine, including Office 2007 formats.

Just install OpenOfffice.org . Doesn't matter if you are using Ubuntu, Fedora, whatever.

Thank you that's all I needed to know. I'm definately switching to Fedora as soon as I can.
