MetalX Posts: 1,364 +4 Jul 19, 2007 #1 My new Core 2 E6320's multiplier keeps changing between 6 and 7. I want it at 7 so that it runs at 2.8GHz. Speedstep is off in the BIOS... so I don't know what's wrong. Anyone know? System Specs are in signature and profile.

C CMH Posts: 2,050 +14 Jul 19, 2007 #2 Did you overclock the computer or something? I know if I had put some bad settings, my multiplier goes beserk. But once good settings are in, it stays put.
