CD/DVD Drives Not in My Computer

For some reason, after installing some RAM into my computer, the bios no longer recognizes either of my cd drives. When I first turn on my computer, it gives an error message and asks whether or not I want to continue. Is there any way the cd drives can be recognized either inside of windows or in the BIOS?
 
When you replaced the RAM, there is a chance that you accidentally loosened the IDE cable of the optical drives. Double check to make sure all connections are tight including the motherboard connection.
