when i play oblivion after about 5 minutes it seems like my mouse and keyboard stop responding, cause there are characters walking around in front of me and stuff but i cant move or look or go to the options or anything, i just have to ctrl alt del to get out of it, does anyone know what does this and if it can be fixed?

I have just re-installed oblivion, knights of the nine and the shivering isles and i still get this problem, its really annoying,

i also have a problem when i have tried to install any patch on oblivion it comes up with "old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match"

i dont know wtf it is on about since i have the original copy and havent installed a crack or anything like that.

has anyone else encounterd this problem at all?

i really wanna play oblivion :'(
