Sun Microsystems has been in the news quite a bit these past few days - some good, some bad.
Good news all over the place! UltraSPARC T2 linkage Sun adds to storage lineup Start-up companies in China and India to get discount from Sun The not so good news - Sun will be downsizing jobs. However, Jonathan Schwartz IMO has been doing a decent job with things as of late. After having had the pleasure of speaking with him in the past, he believes he can take Sun to great places in the future. BTW, let me thank them for buying me a couple of drinks the other night.
