Nothing beats a really cold beer after coming in out of the hot sun! I mean on the verge of freezing cold.

You have never tried a pint of 50/50 Theakestones Old Peculiar mixed with Theakestones Best Bitter then, have you? Not for the faint hearted but a Torkshireman's pint often known as 'Standard' in Richmond up North.

Crital Mass Analysis .....

1. When I'm about to pass out it's gotta be fruit punch
2. When that can is empty, ice tea.
3. For other semi-emergency situations, I'm a coker, been addicted for years.
4. Birch Beer (PA Dutch brand), should be served with all baked bean and pork dishes!

I would like to think that the majority of us at TS are decently smarty by starndard. So I could see why h2o or a cool softdrink are the more popular choices. We're probably A) Health consciouse people in the least OR B) just gotten use to sittin or our bums at the computer, and what would do us more joy than to sip of a coke/pepsi while at work on the pc.

When I am really thirsty I prefer nice ice cold water. Or if there is DR. Peper sitting around I will have that.

Tennis Anyone......?

Ice cold beer's quite a head rush after running around in the hot sun for an hour or two. Sort of like compressing half a Saturday night into 15 minutes.

H20 FTW!!! H20 is what your thirst calls for, don't try any other substitute. (I have at least 10 bottles of water on my desk per summer day.) :P

A cold beer is the best in some situations.

So I went to my favorite watering hole yesterday, and a got a rude shock.

It was closed.

It had slipped my mind that yesterday was a religious holiday.

I don't recall any 'dry' days in the US.

Well.....

True enough, we have become godless heathens.

Although, there still might be a couple of dry towns, down at the Jersey shore.
