just booted up in ubuntu to sort out some HDD issues (sorted them now though) can somebody please tell me where the backgrounds and screen savers are located please because i want the bg for my windows pc and the screensavers too (i will try to port them if i need to)
i'm rebooting into XP so if someone can tell me HOW to get the backgrounds + screensavers from thew disc then thx

As far as I know you won't be able to get xscreensaver for windows. If you are look for the backgrounds just go to google and do a search for ubuntu backgrounds.

I'm not 100% sure about Ubuntu, but most Linux distributions have background images in /usr/share/backgrounds.
