BsOD Windows XP
I have a user who gets the BSOD while using a wireless card (Sprint/Internal) and who is VPNd into our corporate network. It happens at least once each day when she VPNs in, the next time after a system restart it may be fine. The error that is displayed in the error log is
Error code 1000007f, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 80042000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000 I'v attached the Minidump file from the last time it blue screened. Any help would be appreciated. Ralph |

It's most likely a conflict between the Trend Micro Firewall and the Zonealarm Firewall that comes with the VPN software. You can find the same problem here.
BugCheck 1000007F, {8, 80042000, 0, 0} *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for TM_CFW.sys <-- Trend Micro. *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for vsdatant.sys <-- Zonealarm. Probably caused by : TM_CFW.sys ( TM_CFW+2d4ab ) |
