i have a ECS nFORCE3-A939 motherboard. When i try to activate my onboard LAN or disable a Universal Serial Bus Controller my computers reboots instantly.....Why???

I didn't try to but i have an CD with all the drivers for my motherboard chipsets but that didn't solve the problem......

Are you doing this in the BIOS or in Windows?
