Minidump help please

Minidump help please

Hey, please could someone help and try and find out what caused this blue screen today. pc was on standby, turned it on and blue screen came. happened once. i did take out the ethernet cable before to put it on my lapton and then reconnected. it could be linked. not sure.

If it only happened the once, I wouldn`t worry too much. It may well have just been a glitch.

However, if it continues to happen, then you should post 5 or 6 of your latest mindumps.

According to your minidump, ks.sys was responsible. This is the Kernel CSA Library Windows NT/2000/XP Driver.

See how it goes and post back if you have further problems.

I jus wanted to know a bit more about that driver.

Is it a missing driver. do you think the problem will persist?

No, it`s not a missing driver, but rather as I suspect a system/software glitch.

That`s why I said no to worry, unless it keeps happening.

I had another blue screen just now.

When I left the computer on standby, the blue screen came. This was the same incident in the previous blue screen,

Your minidump carshes with memory corruptuion.

Go and read the instructions HERE and see if it helps to identify the culprit.

I`m suspecting a possible hdd corruption or impending failure. another possibility is a damaged page file or faulty ram.
