ThinkPad R31 and Wireless Adapters
My R31 Thinkpad is not setup for wireless service. It has the Mini PCI card slot, but is not wired with the antenna. Can I use the PCMCIA slot to install a wireless adapter? Are there any compatibility issues?

Welcome to Techspot!
Those MiniPC card slot the same size of RAM for these units. If you can get a wifi card for it great for that slot, but you might be better off buying wifi card and insert into your PCMCIA slot instead. Don't forget to install the drivers before you install the card. |
