Striker Extreme Problems
Hey
Just got my ram back from OCZ and noticed that in the bios the actual speed that it was running at was 666mhz. So by increasing the voltage slightly from auto to 2.1v, it booting at the stated ram speed of 1066mhz, with the timings 5-5-5-15. Ram Below http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...er_hpc_edition This works fine, but when i go onto PC Probe 2, it gives me a warning message about the DDR2 Term being at too high a voltage. It was 1.09v when i set my ram at 2.1v. By moving the ram down the 1.925v (any lower caused blue screen or wouldn't boot), the DDR2 Term was 0.99v, and was still shown as a warning. At auto settings, running at 666mhz, its 0.94v, with no error message. I was just wondering if its ok to leave it at 1.95v without any problems. Finally, although slightly off topic, PC probe 2 always shows the 1.2VHT at 1.5v, giving me a warning, even though i havn't changed that. Thanks |

I would leave the ram voltage alone. Overclock your cpu.
