BSOD after linux liveboot.
G'day,
I have been attempting to test my network security using Backtrack (and BTv2) and also Auditor, however I have a few problems. After doing a live boot into Backtrack (auditor doesnt seem to fully load) I shutdown, remove the disc and try to boot my Vista Home Premium, however I get a BSOD and then my laptop trys to do a recovery (which fails). If I boot up again it seems to work. Another issue is that my Wireless card isnt recognized, though it is apparently supported by Madwifi drivers. (As far as I know its a Centrino 3945ABG Mini Pci). Any advice on the matter would be appreciated, though Im guessing the BSOD is related to the shutdown process with doesnt seem to get along with my laptop. Just for reference, its a Toshiba Satelitte, M100/E00. 1.73ghz centrino dual core, 1gb ram, 120gb hdd etc. |
