how to remove HT player (HT NETWORKS)

I don't know who in the world downloaded it onto my pc, but I have it. At first I thought it was one of those programs automatically downloaded from spyware and w/e. It just starts up everytime i restart my pc (which has been having virus problems itself) It looks to be like a radio player. I don't know I never played with it.

I just want it out. There isn't an option for it in the Start>programs menu. I also went to add/remove programs and it doesn't come up on the programs list. Looks like I have to do it the hard way. So it's coming off as fishy to me.

Does anyone have the same problem? Has anyone ever heard of it?

If you google this you will see it is software for watching/listening to digital TV/radio over the internet. There does not appear to be a removal tool mentioned so try this:
First, find it in the program folders and see if there is an uninstall option?
If not, start > run > [tyoe] msconfig ? OK. Select the startup tab and then look down the list for any reference to ht player. When found, untick the box. Click OK and follow recommendation to reboot.
Then open windows explorer and find the program directory under c:\program files. Delete it. Reboot and that should have killed it.
