amd am2 socket cpu question.
I have a abit kn9 nforce 570 motherboard with a 3800+ 64 am2 chip in it. I was wondering if anyone knew if the am2 dual core cpus would fit into this board or can it only be a dual core board? Would it actually make any difference to the current cpu in regards of game play etc?

Dual-Core Athlon64s have been released before the AM2 Socket so I would think a new socket like the AM2 one would support Dual-Core by default. Quad-Core is another matter & for that regard I would advise you to keep an eye on the board's BIOS Update page.
