Laptop only connect to internet in safe mode
Hi TechSpot Forum:
Thanks for allowing me to be to ask a question. My laptop will not connect to the internet in regular mode; however, if I bring it up in safe mode with networking, I can get on the internet. OS is Windows XP professional. If anyone has experienced this before or have any idea as to what the problem might be please help me. Thanks, vmarieb |

Check that your network card has the latest drivers. Also make sure you have only 1 firewall running. If you have norton, disable it just to check and if I am right, get rid of it and install something else - there are very good ones for free from AVG
