MMORPG for lan?

Hi guys
this may be a stupid question, but let me first tell you my situation.
I'm from Suriname a country in South America and here we don't have high speed internet connection, i'm on dail up now writing you this.

here is the question: is it possible form me and my friend to play an mmorpg on lan i never played those kind of games yet. me and my friend love rpg's like dungoen siege.

Do you mean LAN like on the same server?

You can make private servers and stuff for World of Warcraft ( and other online MMORPGs ) but it takes time and you need to know how to do some networking.

but it is possible?. i can play with lets say 3 guy's vs the pc.

System specs
His best option if he were to LAN, especially if he has dial up is to play an RTS, such as the original starcraft still a classic and easy on the system specs
