Travelmate 5510 graphics upgrade
hi,
i've just got a travelmate 5510 with a subscription. the specs seemed really great with 2 GB ram amd tl-60 2 ghz dual core processor and a x1300 128 mb mobile graphics card. i thought this was i nice machine for gaming but it turns out to have very dissapointing gaming preformance. now i was wondering can i maybe buy and built in a better graphics card? and if this is possible wich ones are you reccomending? and also i'm now running vista because it came with the system, would running xp make a big diffience on gaming performance? thx in advance! As a rule, you cannot upgrade notebook graphics.
There are products like MSI Luxium and Asus XG Station (external video card solutions for laptops), but they are not yet available to mortals. Replacing Vista with XP would be your best bet (and a good idea anyway). |
